Frequently asked questions
What is your wedding photography approach?
I like to think of myself as a wedding documentary photographer. On your wedding day, I want to capture the feelings, the excitement, the calm, the crazy moments, and all the details that make your wedding unique. In addition to covering all the most important moments of the day, I love being by your side to help you on your wedding day. I'll get your fly-aways and fix your train, and cry with you in those perfectly happy moments. I can't help it, I'm a crier.
How many final photos will I get?
For 4 hours of wedding coverage, you will receive between 250 - 500 fully edited images. For 6 hours of wedding coverage, you will receive between 500 - 750 fully edited images.
For a portrait session, you will receive anywhere between 20-30 finalized images.
I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and most significant photos to tell your wedding story.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm US-based from Portland, OR and I absolutely love to travel! If you want me to photograph your wedding or portrait session you only need to cover my travel expenses in addition to the base photography fee. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to travel because this is YOUR big day and not a vacation for me.
How can I get the best photos possible on my wedding day?
This is a paragraph. Click edit and enter your own text. You can make changes like making the text bold, underline or italic. This is a great place for you to tell your clients more about your story and to describe the type of photographer.
When & how do I get my photos?
For wedding photos, you will receive your photos within a maximum of 12 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your wedding).
For portraits, you'll receive your final photos within a 2-week window.
For any type of photography, you will receive a personalized online link where you can download all the photos from the gallery. Fro there you can also share your images, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How do I get the best photos on my wedding day?
I am SO glad you asked. Bistro lights and candle light are beautiful in theory but if you want crisp images of your wedding day you need LIGHT! I can absolutely shoot in low light, and in most cases I will, but please note that dark ceremonies will produce grainier images. I also bring external flashes with me, but I prefer not to kill the mood with paparazzi lighting. Consult your photographer (even if it's not me) about what lighting to expect the day of.
